President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has confirmed that the handover of land plots from the Giraavaru Falhu reclamation project will begin in June. This project, which involves reclaiming 160 hectares of land, remains a critical component of the Binveriya housing scheme initiated by the previous administration. Despite experiencing a temporary stall at 54 hectares, the project resumed in January and is currently progressing steadily toward the stated distribution timeline.
